Isabel Durant, also known as Issi Durant, is an actress and dancer from Australia. She was born on December 21, 1991. Isabel is famous for her roles in popular TV shows. She played Grace Whitney in Dance Academy, Ondina the mermaid in Mako: Island of Secrets, and Claire Brady in Days of Our Lives.

Early Life and Dance

Isabel Durant grew up in Sydney, Australia. She started dancing seriously when she was 15 years old. At that time, she was a student at Loreto Kirribilli school.

Becoming a TV Star

Isabel first gained attention on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance Australia. She was a Top 20 finalist in the third season of the show. After her time on the dance show, she tried out for a new teen drama series.

She got the part of Grace Whitney in Dance Academy. Grace was a bit of a troublemaker on the show. Isabel played this role for two seasons, from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, she also appeared in three episodes of the TV series Camp. This show aired on NBC.

Mermaids and Soap Operas

In 2014, Isabel joined the cast of Mako: Island of Secrets. She played Ondina, a mermaid, for two seasons. This role made her very popular with fans.

Later, in August 2020, it was announced that Isabel would join the American soap opera Days of Our Lives. She took over the role of Claire Brady. By September 2020, she became a main cast member on the show. She continued playing Claire Brady until 2021.
