By the end of his college career, Green had played in 46 games. He started 16 of those games and made 94 tackles. He also forced one fumble and made one interception.
Professional Football Career
After college, Isaiah Green hoped to be picked in the 2012 NFL draft. When he wasn't drafted, he signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent. This means he could join any team that offered him a contract.
Playing in the NFL
After being released by the Bills, the Indianapolis Colts signed Green to their practice squad on October 9, 2012. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster. The Colts released him on December 4, 2012. Soon after, on December 12, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed him to their practice squad. He stayed with the Steelers until August 30, 2014, when he was released.
