Where is Isidoro Noblía?
Isidoro Noblía is in eastern Uruguay. It sits right on Route 8. The town is about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) south of Aceguá. Aceguá is a town on the border with Brazil. Isidoro Noblía is also about 45 kilometers (28 miles) north of the city of Melo.
A Brief History of Isidoro Noblía
Isidoro Noblía has grown over the years. On November 15, 1963, it officially became a "Pueblo," which means a village. This change happened because of a law called Ley Nº 13.167. Later, on October 20, 1992, its status was upgraded again. It became a "Villa," which means a town, by a new law, Ley Nº 16.312.
