Iznate is a small town and a municipality in southern Spain. It is part of the province of Málaga, which is in the autonomous community of Andalusia. This charming place is found in a region called La Axarquía.
Iznate is about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Vélez-Málaga. It is also about 45 kilometers (28 miles) from Málaga, the capital city of the province. A river named Iznate flows through the area, adding to its natural beauty.
