Jacob Hassan (born June 11, 1936 – died August 13, 2006) was a Spanish expert in languages and literature. Jacob Hassan's Life and Work
Jacob Hassan was born into a Sephardic Jewish family in Ceuta. Sephardic Jews are a group of Jewish people who originally lived in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal).
He was an important member of the Jewish Community in Madrid. Jacob Hassan was also a scientist and researcher at the Higher Council for Scientific Research (ILC). This is a very important research organization in Spain.
