Jacques Rozier (born November 10, 1926 – died June 2, 2023) was a French film director and screenwriter. He was part of a famous group of filmmakers called the French New Wave. This group changed how movies were made in France. Rozier worked with other well-known directors, like Jean-Luc Godard. Some of his films were even shown at the important Cannes Film Festival.

Rozier passed away on June 2, 2023, when he was 96 years old.
