Lindsay Fields (born May 30, 1986), known as Jade Novah, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She became well-known for her YouTube videos. In these videos, she sang cover versions of popular songs. Her debut album, All Blue, was nominated for a 2019 NAACP Image Award. This award was for the Best New Artist category.

Jade Novah's Music Career

Jade Novah grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She started singing in church when she was young. At 21, she moved to Atlanta. There, she began writing songs for other artists. Some of these artists include Myá and Christina Milian.

Starting Her Solo Journey

In 2012, Jade Novah decided to start her own singing career. She also worked as a backup singer for famous artists. These included Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Rihanna. Around 2011 or 2012, she created a demo for an unreleased song. This song, "Parachute," was meant for Ariana Grande's first album, Yours Truly.

Becoming Famous on YouTube

Jade Novah first became widely known because of her YouTube cover videos. One of her most popular covers was "Diamonds" by Rihanna. By 2013, this video had been watched over 11 million times.

In August 2013, she released her first single, "Show Out". She announced an album called In Search Of Me in November 2013. However, this album was never released. Her husband, Devin Johnson, produced it.

Releasing Her First Album

On July 13, 2018, Jade Novah released her first album, "All Blue". This album earned her a nomination for a 2019 NAACP Image Award. She was nominated in the Best New Artist category.

She also appeared on FOX's The Four: Battle for Stardom. On this show, she worked as a vocal producer and mentor. She also co-hosted The Morning Culture Show on V-103 in Atlanta.

Her song "I Just Wanna Know" was the first song from a new album. This album was released in 2022. After "I Just Wanna Know" became popular, Jade released "Lost in You". This was the second song from her upcoming project.

Other Work and Appearances

In 2018, Jade Novah became very popular for a funny video on YouTube. In this video, she pretended to be Beyoncé, Toni Braxton, and other singers. That same year, she helped contestants on the TV show The Four as a music mentor.

In January 2019, she started working as a VJ for V-103's morning show. She left after nine months to focus more on her music career. Jade Novah has also appeared on the TV show That's My Jam on NBC.

In 2023, she was a voice actor in an episode of The Simpsons. In 2025, Jade Novah starred in the Netflix comedy series She the People.
