Jade Elizabeth Rose (born February 12, 2003) is a Canadian soccer player. She plays as a centre-back (a defender) for Manchester City in the Women's Super League. Jade also plays for the Canadian national team.

Early Life and Soccer Beginnings
Jade Rose started playing soccer when she was young. She first played for Markham SC. Later, she joined Unionville-Milliken SC. After that, she moved to the NDC Ontario Regional Excel (REX) Program. These programs helped her develop her soccer skills.
College Soccer Career
In 2018, coaches from Harvard Crimson women's soccer noticed Jade. She decided to join Harvard University for the 2021-22 school year. There, she played for their women's soccer team.
First Year at Harvard
Jade scored her first college goal on September 2, 2021. This was against the Boston University Terriers. She scored her first game-winning goal on September 15, 2021. This important goal happened in double overtime against the Northeastern Huskies.
After her great first year, Jade received many awards. She was named to the All-Ivy First Team. She also made the All-East Region First Team. Top Drawer Soccer included her in their First-year Best XI. She was also on the United Soccer Coaches' 2022 Women's Players to Watch list.
Second Year at Harvard
After her second year, Jade continued to earn honors. She was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year. She also became an Ivy League First Team All-Star. She was recognized on the All-New England First-Team. The United Soccer Coaches named her a Second Team All-American. She also made the All-East Region First Team again.

Key Moments and Achievements
Jade joined Canada's U20 team again in 2022. She was named captain for the 2022 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. The team finished third, which helped them qualify for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Jade also played in this World Cup.
After the U20 World Cup, Jade was called up to the senior team. This was for two friendly matches against Australia. She played in the second match on September 6. Her performance was highly praised. She did a great job stopping Australian star forward Sam Kerr. She also helped set up the winning goal by Adriana Leon. The Guardian newspaper called her "the star of the show."
Jade was selected for Canada's squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. However, she had to withdraw because of an injury. In September, she was called up again for the CONCACAF Olympic qualification playoff. This was against Jamaica. Canada won against Jamaica and qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics. In 2023, she was named Canada's Young Player of the Year for the third time in four years.
Jade joined the squad for the first CONCACAF W Gold Cup. She played full games in two group matches. She also played the full 120 minutes in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals. Canada lost to the United States in a penalty shootout. Many people said that this tournament showed Jade had earned her spot in the team's starting lineup. Jade was named to Canada's squad for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
On April 4, 2025, Jade scored her first goal for the senior national team. It was the first goal in a 3-0 win against Argentina in a friendly match.
