William Jacob Busey (born June 15, 1971) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in many movies and TV shows. Some of his famous parts include Johnny Bartlett in The Frighteners (1996) and Ace Levy in Starship Troopers (1997). He also played Aiden Tanner in the TV series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. More recently, he appeared as Sean H. Keyes in the Predator movies.

Early Life: Growing Up on Set
Jake Busey was born in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Malibu, California. His mom is Judy Helkenberg, a photographer. His dad is the famous actor Gary Busey.
Jake spent a lot of his childhood on movie sets. He also traveled with bands where his dad sometimes played music. These bands included Leon Russell and Willie Nelson. By age five, Jake was already thinking about his future. He started two hobbies that became his jobs: acting and playing the drums.
Career: From Movies to TV Shows
Jake Busey started acting in movies when he was young. His first movie was Straight Time in 1978. He acted alongside his dad, Gary Busey, and other stars like Dustin Hoffman.
He had two very important roles in 1997. He played a serious character in Contact with Jodie Foster. He also played Ace Levy, a quick-witted soldier, in the science fiction movie Starship Troopers.
Jake has been in many other popular films. These include The Frighteners (1996) with Michael J. Fox. He was also in Tomcats (2001) and the thriller Identity (2003). He worked with C. Thomas Howell in The Hitcher II (2003).
Besides movies, Jake has acted in many TV shows. He had a main role in the TV series Shasta McNasty. He also lent his voice to video games. He was The Radioman in Spec Ops: The Line (2012). He also voiced the DJ of Resistance Radio in XCOM 2: War of the Chosen.
In 2018, Jake appeared in two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. He played Tony Caine, an old friend of the character Mack. Later, he joined the cast of Stranger Things for its third season. In Stranger Things, he played a journalist named Bruce.

Jake Busey has a daughter named Autumn. She was born in 2012. Her mother is April Hutchinson, Jake's girlfriend.
