Jaleel Roberts, born on October 14, 1992, is an American professional basketball player. He played for many teams, with his last team being the Mantarrayas de La Paz in a league called CIBACOPA. Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for UNC Asheville.

High School Basketball Journey
Jaleel Roberts started his high school basketball career at Evans High School in Evans, Georgia. As a freshman, he played for coach Kevin Kenny. He was a strong player, averaging 34 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks per game.
Roberts later attended Greensboro Day School in Greensboro, North Carolina. There, he played for head coach Freddie Johnson. In his senior year (2010–2011), he averaged eight points, eight rebounds, and four blocks per game. His team, the Bengals, finished with a great record of 23 wins and 5 losses. They also made it to the state playoffs.
College Basketball Career
Roberts played college basketball for four years at UNC Asheville. He appeared in 90 games, starting five of them. On average, he scored 4.1 points, grabbed 3.2 rebounds, and made 1.4 blocks in about 12.3 minutes per game.
Jaleel was known for being a strong defensive player for the Bulldogs. In his senior year (2014–2015), he averaged 2.6 blocks per game. On February 18, 2015, he had an amazing game against Winthrop. He scored a career-high 25 points, making all 12 of his shots from the field. This set a new record for his school and conference.
Professional Basketball Path
After college, Jaleel Roberts was not chosen in the 2015 NBA draft. However, he joined the Washington Wizards for the 2015 NBA Summer League. He played in three games and recorded five rebounds. Later, he signed with the Wizards for their training camp on September 25. He played in three preseason games before the team waived him on October 24.
Playing in Australia
On March 7, 2016, Roberts signed with the Brisbane Spartans in Australia. He played in the SEABL season. In his first game on April 1, he didn't score any points. But in the next game, he scored 12 points. He left the team in June 2016 to join the Washington Wizards again for the 2016 NBA Summer League. During his time with the Spartans, Roberts averaged 8.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game in 13 games.
NBA Development League Teams
On September 23, 2016, Roberts signed with the Milwaukee Bucks. He played in five preseason games before being waived on October 22. On October 30, he was chosen by the Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2016 NBA Development League Draft. He played six games for them, averaging 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds.
On December 14, Roberts was traded to the Salt Lake City Stars. He made his debut for the Stars two days later. He recorded two rebounds in four minutes off the bench.
International Play
In March 2018, Roberts signed with San Carlos in the Dominican Republic. He made his debut on March 27. On May 8, he signed with Pelita Jaya Energi Mega Persada in the Indonesian League.
In January 2019, Roberts joined the Mexican club Soles de Mexicali. He played three games with them in the 2019 FIBA Americas League. In February, it was announced that he signed with another Mexican team, Mantarrayas de La Paz. This team was new and starting its first season in the CIBACOPA league.
