The Río Jamapa is a river found in the Mexican state of Veracruz. It starts high up on a tall mountain called Citlaltépetl. This mountain is also known as Pico de Orizaba. The river then flows all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. It empties into the sea near a town called Boca del Río. This town's name means "Mouth of the River" in Spanish.
