Jane Isakson is a Canadian athlete who used to compete in a cool winter sport called biathlon. She was so good that she got to represent Canada at the Winter Olympics not once, but twice! She competed in the 1992 Winter Olympics and again in the 1994 Winter Olympics.

What is Biathlon?

Biathlon is a challenging winter sport that combines two very different skills: cross-country skiing and rifle shooting. Athletes ski long distances across snowy terrain. Then, they stop at special shooting ranges to hit targets with a rifle.

She proudly represented Canada at the 1992 Winter Olympics. Two years later, she returned to compete again at the 1994 Winter Olympics. Competing in the Olympics is a huge achievement for any athlete. It shows years of hard work and incredible skill.
