Jannu is a very tall mountain in the Himalayas mountain range. It is located in the country of Nepal. Jannu is also known by its local names, Mount Khumbhakharna and Phoktanglungma.

This impressive peak stands at 7,710 meters (about 25,300 feet) high. It is the 32nd highest mountain in the entire world! The first people to successfully climb to the top of Jannu were René Desmaison, Paul Keller, Robert Paragot, and Sherpa Gyalzen Mitchung. They made this historic climb in 1962.
