About Jaqueline's Life
Jaqueline grew up in Ceilândia, Brazil. Her mother worked with computers, and her father taught mining science. She has a younger brother. Jaqueline was a very good student.
Her Education Journey
She first studied chemistry for a year. Then, she decided to switch to psychology. Jaqueline earned two advanced degrees from the University of Brasília. She received a master's degree in Psychology. Later, she completed her PhD in Social Psychology, which studies how people interact in groups and workplaces.
Working for Fairness
From 2003 to 2008, Jaqueline worked at the University of Brasília. She was an adviser on diversity, helping to make sure the university was welcoming to everyone. She also helped lead a center for black students.
Jaqueline helped organize the Pride parade in Brasília. This event celebrates diversity and promotes equal rights. She also helped Brazil set its goals for the United Nations' Millennium Dome project, which aimed to improve lives around the world.
