Jari Jones was born in 1991 in New York, U.S. She is an American actress, model, and producer. Jari is also an activist who works for important causes. She helped create the film Port Authority. Jari worked on the film as a cast member, script consultant, acting coach, and producer.

Making History in Film
Jari Jones made history in the film world. She was the first Black trans woman producer to have a film shown at the Cannes Film Festival. This is a very famous film festival. The movie, Port Authority, also featured Leyna Bloom. Leyna was the first trans woman of color to have a main role in a film at Cannes.
Modeling and Activism
Jari is also a successful model. In 2020, she was one of the main faces for Calvin Klein's Pride campaign. She has also modeled for other big brands. These include Dove and Elizabeth Suzann. Jari has walked the runway in New York Fashion Week. She was the first Black transgender woman to model for the No Sesso brand there.
