Early life and acting beginnings

Jasmin Savoy Brown was born in Alameda, California. She grew up in Springfield, Oregon. When she was four years old, she acted in a church musical. This experience made her love performing.

As she grew up, Jasmin took part in many musicals. She was also a member of different musical groups and choirs. Some of these included the University of Oregon and the Oregon Children's Choir. After high school, she moved to Portland, Oregon to focus on acting.

Brown started her career with small roles. She appeared in TV shows like Grimm on NBC. She also had a part in The Fosters on Freeform. Later, she starred in movies such as Camp Harlow. She also guest-starred on NBC's Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
