Jasmine Wong (born November 8, 1995), known as Jasmine Sokko, is a talented singer and songwriter from Singapore. She also creates electronic music. You might recognize her because she often wears cool visors or masks when she performs. This hides part of her face! She is one of the most popular Singaporean female singers on Spotify, where many people listen to her music.

Her School Days
Jasmine Sokko went to Anderson Secondary school from 2009 to 2012. Later, she studied at Singapore Management University. She graduated in 2016 with a degree in Business Management. While she was a student, she even won an award called the SMU Emerging Artist Award.
Her Music Journey
Starting Her Career
In 2016, Jasmine Sokko released her very first song, "1057." She wrote and produced this song herself! She then signed with a music company called 13 Orphans Records. When "1057" came out, it quickly became a top song on Spotify's viral charts in Singapore. In 2017, she released her first mini-album, called an EP, named "N°" (which means Number). This EP included songs she had released before, all named after numbers.
Joining a Big Label
In 2018, Jasmine Sokko released a song called "Hurt." This was her first song with a major music company, Warner Music Singapore. That same year, she joined a TV show in China called Rave Now. It was a competition for electronic music artists. Jasmine was the only person from Singapore on the show. She did really well and finished in fourth place!
Winning Awards and New Music
In 2019, Jasmine Sokko made history! She became the first music artist from Singapore to win an award at the MTV Europe Music Awards. She won the award for Best Southeast Asian Act. Because of her time on Rave Now, she also released a Chinese language EP in November 2020. It was called Made in Future (Chinese: 新乐园; pinyin: Xīn Yuè Yuán).
Recent Projects
In 2022, Jasmine Sokko worked with Lenovo’s Legion. She created a special song for them and helped make a three-part mini-documentary. In 2024, she had a huge opportunity. She opened for the famous band Coldplay at the National Stadium in Singapore. This was during their Music of the Spheres World Tour.
