Jason Thomas Orange (born 10 July 1970) is an English former singer. He is most famous for being a member of the pop group Take That. He was with the band from when it started in 1990 until they took a break in 1996. He then rejoined them for their reunion in 2005. Jason left the entertainment world in 2014.

Early Life
Jason Thomas Orange was born on 10 July 1970 in Manchester, England. He has a twin brother named Justin. Jason studied English at South Trafford College from 2001 to 2003. He also took a special course in biology, history, and psychology. However, he did not go to university after that.
Music Career
Before joining Take That, Jason was part of a breakdance group. They were called Street Machine and were based in Manchester in the mid-1980s. In 1985, they won the Manchester part of the UK Breakdancing Championship. Jason also appeared as a dancer on a TV show called The Hit Man and Her. He was also in a music duo called Look Twice in the late 1980s.
Joining Take That
Jason Orange became a member of Take That when the group was formed in 1990. He stayed with the band until they went on a break in February 1996.
Acting Roles
Besides music, Jason also tried acting. In 1998, he appeared in a TV crime series called Killer Net. The next year, he played the main character in a play in London. The play was called Gob.
Take That Reunion
Take That got back together in 2005. At first, Robbie Williams was not with them. In 2006, they released a new album called Beautiful World. This was their first studio album since 1995. Jason helped write songs and sang lead vocals on this album. He had also done this for their older albums.
In 2008, the band released another album called The Circus. Then, in 2010, Robbie Williams rejoined the group. They released the album Progress together. Jason also continued to act a little. In April 2013, he had a small role in the TV comedy series Shameless.
Leaving the Band
On 24 September 2014, Jason Orange announced that he was leaving Take That. He said he wanted to stop working in the entertainment business.
