Jason Thomas Orange (born on July 10, 1970) is an English singer who used to perform. He is famous for being a member of the pop group Take That. He was with the band from when it started in 1990 until they took a break in 1996. He rejoined them in 2005 and stayed until he stopped performing in September 2014.

Jason Orange's Early Life
Jason Thomas Orange was born in Manchester, England, on July 10, 1970. He has a twin brother named Justin. Their parents are Tony and Jenny Orange. Later in life, Jason studied English at South Trafford College from 2001 to 2003. He also took a course that covered biology, history, and psychology. However, he did not go to university.
Jason Orange's Career Journey
Starting in Dance
In the mid-1980s, Jason Orange was part of a breakdance group called Street Machine. This group was based in Manchester. In 1985, they won the Manchester part of the UK Breakdancing Championship. Jason also appeared as a dancer on a TV show called The Hit Man and Her. Before joining Take That, he was also in a music duo called Look Twice in the late 1980s.
Joining Take That
Jason Orange became a member of Take That when the group formed in 1990. He was with them until they decided to take a break in February 1996.
Acting Roles
After Take That's first break, Jason tried acting. In 1998, he appeared in a crime drama TV series called Killer Net. The next year, he played the main character in a play called Gob. This play was shown in London.
Take That's Reunion
Take That got back together in 2005. At this time, Robbie Williams was not with the group. They released a new album of their greatest hits. In 2006, they released Beautiful World, which was their first studio album since 1995. Jason helped write songs and sang lead vocals on this album, just like he had done before.
In 2008, the band released another album called The Circus. Then, in 2010, Robbie Williams rejoined the group. They released the album Progress together. Jason also continued to act a little. In April 2013, he had a small role in the TV comedy series Shameless on Channel 4.
Leaving Take That
On September 24, 2014, it was announced that Jason Orange had decided to leave Take That. He wanted to stop working in the entertainment business.
