Jay Alexander is an American magician and comedian. He is well-known for entertaining at big events and for important people.
Early Life and Magic Beginnings
Jay Alexander was born in Houston, Texas. He showed a talent for magic from a young age. When he was just fourteen years old, he received a special award called the Gold Medal of Honor. This award came from the Society of American Magicians, a group for magicians. He was the youngest person ever to get this honor!
He went to Westbury High School and then the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston. After high school, Jay Alexander moved to San Francisco. There, he studied at the San Francisco Art Institute.
Jay Alexander's Career in Entertainment
Jay Alexander has written several books about magic. He also created a special CD-ROM called Learn the Art of Magic. This CD-ROM teaches 26 different magic tricks to people who want to learn.
He has performed for many famous people and groups. Some of his clients include actor Robin Williams, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and the famous band Rolling Stones.
Jay Alexander also helped create a children's DVD. He directed "Here Comes Boswick the Clown with Phoebe the Duck!". This fun DVD was produced by David Magidson.
