Jayma Mays is an American actress. She was born on July 16, 1979. Many people know her for her role as Emma Pillsbury in the popular musical TV series Glee. She also played important parts in movies like Paul Blart: Mall Cop and The Smurfs.

Growing Up and School
Jayma Mays grew up in Grundy, Virginia. Her father was a high school teacher. When she was 15, she got a job reading obituaries at a local radio station. After finishing high school, she went to Southwest Virginia Community College and earned a degree. She then studied at Virginia Tech for a year before moving to Radford University.
Acting Career Highlights
Jayma Mays started her acting career in 2004. Her first TV appearance was on a show called Joey. The next year, she was in her first movie, Red Eye.
Famous TV Roles
Mays has been in many TV shows. She played Charlie Andrews in the science fiction series Heroes. She was also Debbie in the comedy show The Millers. From 2017 to 2018, she starred as a lawyer named Carol Anne Keane in the comedy Trial & Error.
