Jayshree V. Ullal (born March 27, 1961) is a very successful British-American businesswoman. She is the president and CEO of Arista Networks, a company that helps build the internet's "cloud." Arista Networks creates special equipment that helps computers talk to each other super fast in huge data centers.

Early Life and Learning
Jayshree Ullal was born in London, England, on March 27, 1961. She grew up in New Delhi, India, and went to school there.
Later, she moved to the United States for her college education. She studied at San Francisco State University, where she earned a degree in electrical engineering in 1981. She then went to Santa Clara University and got a master's degree in engineering management in 1986.

Jayshree Ullal has had a long and impressive career in the technology world.
Starting Out
Jayshree began her career at a company called Fairchild Semiconductor. After that, she worked at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). There, she helped design special memory chips for big companies like IBM. In 1988, she joined Ungermann-Bass, where she managed a team that worked on connecting computer networks.
In 1992, Jayshree became the vice-president of marketing at Crescendo Communications. She helped develop new ways for computers to share information very quickly.
Time at Cisco
In 1993, a very large technology company called Cisco Systems bought Crescendo Communications. This was a big step for Cisco, and Jayshree joined their team. She started working on Cisco's network switching business. This part of Cisco grew from a small business to one worth $5 billion by the year 2000!
Jayshree became a Senior Vice President at Cisco. She helped lead many important projects, including how computers communicate and how to keep networks safe. She also helped Cisco buy about 20 other companies. She worked at Cisco for more than 15 years.
Leading Arista Networks
In 2008, Jayshree Ullal became the CEO and President of Arista Networks. This company focuses on "cloud networking." The cloud is like a giant online storage and computing space that many people and businesses use. Arista helps build the fast connections needed for the cloud to work smoothly.
