Jean Batmale (born September 18, 1895, died June 3, 1973) was a French football player. He was a talented midfielder, which means he played in the middle of the field. Batmale was a part of the French national team and even played in the Olympic Games.
Playing Career
Jean Batmale played for several football clubs during his career. He started his journey with Club Français. Later, he also played for FC Levallois and a team from Clichy.
Club Teams
Batmale returned to Club Français for a second time. After that, he joined Rennes, a well-known club. He also played for Olympique Alès and Nice.
National Team
Jean Batmale proudly represented the French national team. He played for France from 1920 to 1924. During this time, he played in six international matches.
Olympic Games
Batmale was chosen to play for France in two different Olympic Games. He competed in the football tournaments at both the 1920 Summer Olympics and the 1924 Summer Olympics. This was a big honor for him as a player.
