Jean Philippe's Eurovision Journey

Singing for France in 1959

The Eurovision Song Contest 1959 was held in Cannes, France. This was because France had won the year before. Jean Philippe sang a catchy song called "Oui, oui, oui, oui". The title means "Yes, yes, yes, yes" in French. He did very well, finishing in third place. He received a total of 15 points for his performance.

Representing Switzerland in 1962

Jean Philippe returned to the Eurovision stage in 1962. This time, he represented Switzerland. The contest was held in Luxembourg. His song was called "Le retour", which means "The return". Sadly, his second time was not as successful. He received only two points and finished in tenth place.

Jean Philippe in Films

Besides singing, Jean Philippe also appeared in a movie. In 1960, he was in a film called Jazz Boat. In the movie, he performed his popular song "Oui, oui, oui, oui".
