Jean Philippe Cretton Vásquez was born in Victoria, Chile, on January 21, 1985. He is a well-known television presenter and journalist from Chile. He became famous for hosting the TV show Calle 7 on Televisión Nacional de Chile. He started as a co-host and later became the main host until 2013.

Jean Philippe Cretton's Life Story
Jean Philippe Cretton was born in Victoria, Chile, in 1985. He spent most of his childhood there. Later, his family moved to Santiago, Chile, because of his father's job. He started his studies in Santiago. Even though he really wanted to study music, he chose to study journalism instead. He went to Andrés Bello National University.
Starting His TV Career
In February 2009, Jean Philippe joined the TV show Calle 7 on Televisión Nacional de Chile. He first hosted contests for the audience. He also hosted the online version of the show, Calle 7 Online. Soon, he became a co-host of the main program. He held this job for about a year.
On August 31, 2010, he decided to leave the show for personal reasons. However, he returned as the main host of Calle 7 on October 26, 2010. He continued in this role until 2013.
Working as a Journalist
After a big earthquake in Chile in 2010, Jean Philippe worked as a journalist. He was part of Televisión Nacional de Chile's special program called Fuerza Chile. He reported from the Maule and Bío Bío regions.
He also hosted an online show called Sería todo with another journalist, Nicolás Opazo. In September 2010, he began hosting a show called Abre los ojos. In 2010, he won the TV Grama award for "Best Young Hoster." That same year, he signed a three-year contract with Televisión Nacional de Chile.
In January 2013, he signed a two-year contract to work at La Red, another TV channel. There, he hosted the show Mentiras verdaderas. From August 2013, he also hosted a radio show called Radar on Rock and Pop radio.

Jean Philippe Cretton's Music Career
Jean Philippe Cretton is also a musician. He was the vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist for a band called Siberia. They recorded two studio albums together. Currently, he is part of a music group called Crettinos. It is an electronic pop-rock duo, and he works with Claudio Carrizo in this project.
