Early Career and Rise to Fame
In 1999, Pamela became even more well-known when she competed in the Miss Mundo Chile beauty pageant. She came in second place, which was a great achievement. Before that, she had also participated in the Miss 17 pageant. Even though she didn't win Miss Mundo Chile, the pageant helped her career take off. She then joined a popular youth TV program called Mekano and stayed there until 2000.
After Mekano, Pamela became very popular in Chile. She was featured in many advertisements and also worked as a model. She even appeared as a model in La Movida del Festival, a show related to the famous Viña del Mar Festival.

In this show, she lived on a farm for over three months, taking care of animals and growing her own food. During her time on the show, she had some disagreements with other participants. This led the Chilean press to give her the nickname "La Fiera Vip." She was eliminated early but later returned to the show for a short time.
After La Granja VIP, Pamela worked as a commentator for a while. Later, she joined Chilevisión as a panelist on the entertainment show Sálvese Quien Pueda (SQP). On this show, she became known for her strong opinions and lively discussions.
In 2006, Pamela left SQP but continued to work for Chilevisión. She starred in a "docu-reality" series called Diary of a Bride on the Spotlight program. This series showed all the preparations for her wedding to Manuel Neira. Their wedding took place on December 15, 2006, and was even broadcast live on TV in Chile.
