Jeffrey Kramer (born July 15, 1945) is an American actor and television producer. He is best known for his acting roles in the famous Jaws movies and for producing popular TV shows like Ally McBeal and The Practice.

Life and Career

Jeffrey Kramer grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and went to Ithaca College on a scholarship to study acting. He began his career in the 1970s, working both in movies and on television.

Famous Acting Roles

One of Kramer's most memorable roles was Deputy Hendricks in the blockbuster movie Jaws (1975). He played the same character again in the sequel, Jaws 2 (1978). His character was a police officer in the small town of Amity, which was being terrorized by a giant shark.

He also appeared in other well-known films and shows. In the horror movie Halloween II (1981), he played a dentist who helps in the investigation of the killer Michael Myers. Kramer also had guest roles on popular TV shows like Happy Days, M*A*S*H, and Laverne & Shirley.

Work as a Producer

Later in his career, Kramer began working behind the scenes as a television producer. A producer helps manage the creation of a TV show, from planning and financing to filming. He was a producer for two very successful legal drama series: The Practice and Ally McBeal. His work on these shows was highly praised.
