Jennifer Frances Hedger, born on September 18, 1975, in London, Ontario, is a Canadian television host. She is well-known as a co-host of SportsCentre, a nightly sports news show on TSN.

Jennifer Hedger's Career in TV

Jennifer Hedger started her TV journey in London, Ontario. She worked for Rogers Television, where she helped with a show called Plugged In!. She also hosted OHL Primetime during the 1998-99 OHL hockey season.

In 2001, Jennifer was part of a Canadian reality show called U8TV: The Lofters. Eight strangers lived together in a Toronto loft and created their own online TV shows. After this experience, she appeared on TSN's talk show Off the Record with Michael Landsberg.

Joining TSN and SportsCentre

Jennifer officially joined TSN in 2002. She became a co-anchor for SportsCentre, hosting the 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. ET news programs. Today, she is a co-host of the 10 p.m. ET edition of SportsCentre. She used to host with Darren Dutchyshen until he passed away in 2024.

Olympic Games and Other TV Shows

Besides her work on TSN, Jennifer has also been involved with the Olympic Games.

  • For the London 2012 Olympic Games, she co-hosted Olympic Daytime on CTV with James Duthie.
  • For the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, she was the Whistler Host for Olympic Prime Time on CTV.

Jennifer has also made guest appearances on other TV shows. She had small roles in the first episode of the TV series Whistler and an episode of Corner Gas. Both of these shows aired on CTV.

From March 2011 to January 2012, Jennifer was on leave from TSN because she had a baby. During that time, Kate Beirness filled in for her, working with Darren Dutchyshen.

Jennifer Hedger's Personal Life

Jennifer Hedger grew up in Lambeth and Westminster, Ontario. She later went to the University of Western Ontario. She has one brother who lives in London, Ontario.

Jennifer used to date Jason de Vos, who was a captain for the Canadian national soccer team. She is now married to Sean McCormick, who used to be a host for Rogers Sportsnet, a rival sports network.

In November 2007, Hello! Magazine named Jennifer Hedger as one of the top 10 most beautiful women on television.
