Jens Seipenbusch: Early Life and Education
Jens Seipenbusch was one of the people who helped start the Pirate Party Germany. This means he was a "founding member." He studied physics at the University of Münster. Physics is the study of how the universe works, from tiny atoms to giant galaxies.
His Time as Party Leader
Jens Seipenbusch was the leader of the Pirate Party Germany more than once. He first led the party from May 2007 to May 2008. After that, he was the deputy leader for one year. A deputy leader helps the main leader.
He was chosen as the party leader again in July 2009. He was re-elected in May 2010. This shows that members of his party trusted him to lead. He decided not to run for leader again in May 2011.
