Jeremy Collins on Survivor

Jeremy Collins has played the game of Survivor three times. This popular TV show challenges people to survive in the wilderness and compete in physical and mental tasks.

Playing Survivor: San Juan del Sur

Jeremy first appeared on Survivor in its 29th season, called Survivor: San Juan del Sur. He played with his wife, Val. On the second day, they were put on different teams, called tribes. Jeremy was on the Hunahpu tribe, and Val was on Coyopa.

Jeremy volunteered for the first challenge and was surprised to find Val was his opponent! He won, which sent Val to Exile Island. Sadly, Val was the second person voted out of the game, which made Jeremy very sad.

Even though his Hunahpu tribe had some problems, they won many challenges. After the teams were mixed up, Jeremy stayed on Hunahpu with his friends Natalie Anderson and Julie McGee. His team kept winning, so they didn't have to go to Tribal Council, where players vote someone out.

When the teams combined into one big group, Jeremy was seen as a strong player. Other players wanted to vote him out. But then, Julie McGee decided to leave the game, which saved Jeremy from being voted out that time. He later won a challenge that gave him safety.

However, another player, Reed Kelly, found a hidden immunity idol. Jeremy thought Jon Misch had an idol and asked him about it, but Jon said no. This led to Jon and his friends secretly planning to vote Jeremy out. They succeeded, and Jeremy was voted out. He finished in tenth place. At the final vote, Jeremy spoke up for Natalie Anderson, saying she was the best player. He voted for her, and she won the season.

Winning Survivor: Cambodia

Jeremy was chosen by fans to play Survivor again in its 31st season, Survivor: Cambodia. This season was special because it brought back players who deserved a "second chance." Jeremy started on the Bayon tribe. At the time, his wife was expecting their third child. Jeremy said he wanted to win the game for his family.

Early in the game, Jeremy found a clue to a hidden immunity idol. He found the idol at the next challenge. This was a secret advantage he could use to protect himself or someone else from being voted out.

Even after the teams were mixed up twice, Jeremy always stayed on the Bayon tribe. When only 13 players were left, all the teams merged into one. Jeremy found another hidden immunity idol later in the game. He used one of his idols to save his close friend Stephen Fishbach from being voted out.

When there were eight players left, they had a special visit from their loved ones. Jeremy got to see his wife, Val, who was very pregnant. She told him they were having a baby boy! Jeremy decided to keep this news a secret from the other players, thinking it might make him a target.

At the final six, Jeremy used his second hidden immunity idol on himself, which saved him from being voted out. At the final four, Jeremy won the last immunity challenge, which meant he was safe. He then voted with his alliance to send Kelley Wentworth home, making her the last person on the jury.

At the Final Tribal Council, where the jury votes for the winner, Jeremy was praised for being loyal and playing fairly. He then shared his happy news with everyone: he was going to have a son! On December 16, 2015, it was announced that Jeremy won Survivor: Cambodia with every single jury vote. He was only the fourth player in Survivor history to win with all votes.

Playing Survivor: Winners at War

Jeremy played Survivor for a third time in its 40th season, Survivor: Winners at War. This was a special season where only past winners competed. He started on the Sele tribe. Early on, his friend Natalie Anderson was voted out. She gave him a "Fire Token," a special currency in the game, and a "Safety without Power" advantage. This advantage allowed him to leave Tribal Council before the vote.

When the teams merged, Jeremy won the first immunity challenge. However, he had to vote out his friend Wendell Holland at the next Tribal Council. Later, when there were 10 players left, Jeremy used his "Safety without Power" advantage to leave Tribal Council. This was a good move because other players, especially Tony Vlachos, were planning to vote him out.

Jeremy received votes at the next two Tribal Councils but was saved by Tony. However, Tony eventually betrayed Jeremy, and Jeremy was voted out when there were seven players left. He lost a challenge to get back into the game and finished in eighth place.

At the Final Tribal Council, Jeremy expressed his disappointment to Tony for betraying him. As a jury member, Jeremy voted for Natalie Anderson to win, but Tony won the season, becoming the second two-time winner of Survivor.
