Jeremy Gara (born June 6, 1978) is a Canadian musician from Ottawa, Ontario. He is famous for being the drummer for the popular indie rock band Arcade Fire. Besides his work with Arcade Fire, Gara is also a talented solo artist and works on many other musical projects.

Musical Career
Jeremy Gara is a key member of the band Arcade Fire. Before joining them, he played in several other bands. These included the slowcore group Kepler and the math rock band Weights and Measures. He has also worked with many other musicians, like Michael Feuerstack and Howe Gelb.
Gara is supported by Istanbul Agop Cymbals and C&C Custom Drum Company, which means he uses their equipment.
Role in Arcade Fire
While Gara is mainly the drummer for Arcade Fire, he is a multi-talented musician. During live shows, it's common to see him and other band members switch instruments. For some songs, Gara will play the guitar, showing his versatility.
He has played drums on all of Arcade Fire's albums since he joined, starting with Neon Bible in 2007.
Solo Work and Other Projects
In 2016, Gara released his first solo album, called Limn. This album was mostly made up of improvised electronic music. He even created the artwork for the album himself.
