Jeremy Young Hutchinson (born March 4, 1974) is a former politician from Arkansas. He was a member of the Republican Party. He served in the Arkansas State Senate for District 33, which includes parts of Little Rock. Before that, he was a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives. He served in the House from 2000 to 2007 and in the Senate from 2011 until he resigned in 2018.

Jeremy Hutchinson's Political Career
Jeremy Hutchinson started his political career in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He was first elected in March 2000. He represented District 31 in Pulaski County. At that time, he was the youngest person serving in the Arkansas House.
Roles in the House
Hutchinson was re-elected three times to the House. During his time there, he worked on important committees. These included the House Judiciary Committee and the Insurance and Commerce Committee. He also served as the vice-chair of the Joint Energy Committee. From 2002 to 2004, he was the assistant minority leader.
Moving to the Senate
On August 4, 2009, Hutchinson announced he wanted to run for the Arkansas State Senate. He aimed to represent District 22 in Pulaski County. In May 2010, he won the Republican primary election. He defeated Dan Greenberg with 58 percent of the votes. Later, in November 2010, Hutchinson won the general election. He beat the Democratic candidate, Dawn Creekmore, to become the senator for District 22. He was re-elected to the Senate in 2013.
Recognitions and Resignation
In 2002, Arkansas Business magazine named Jeremy Hutchinson to their "40 under 40" list. This list highlights successful young professionals. He also served on the board of the Arkansas Council on Economic Education. In 2005, readers of the Arkansas Times voted him "Best Conservative."
On August 31, 2018, Jeremy Hutchinson resigned from his position in the Arkansas State Senate.
