College Basketball Days
Jerry McCullough played college basketball for the University of Pittsburgh team. He was a key player for them from 1991 to 1996.
Playing Pro Basketball
After college, Jerry McCullough became a professional basketball player. He played for many teams, mostly in Europe.
In 1998, he had a fantastic year! He was named the Best Scorer in the top French basketball league, called LNB Pro A. This means he scored more points than anyone else that season.
In the same year, he was also chosen as the Foreign MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the French League. This award goes to the best non-French player in the league, showing how talented he was.
Today, Jerry McCullough helps young athletes. He works as a Physical Education teacher and a basketball coach at Bronx Charter School for Excellence 2 Middle School.
