Jesús María is a city in the Mexican state of Aguascalientes. It is located at 21°58′N 102°21′W / 21.967°N 102.350°W. This city is the main town for the surrounding municipality also called Jesús María.
In 2010, the city of Jesús María had about 43,012 people living there. This made it the second-largest city in the state. It is very close to the state capital, Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes. Because of this, Jesús María has become part of the larger metropolitan area of Aguascalientes. It acts like a suburban area for the capital city.
Jesús María is also a "sister city" to Queen Creek, Arizona, in the United States. A sister city partnership means two cities in different countries agree to promote cultural and commercial ties.
