Jesse Lipscombe, born in 1980, is a talented Canadian actor. He is well-known for his roles as Mance in the Netflix series Black Summer and Coach Allen in My Life With the Walter Boys. Jesse won a Rosie Award for his acting in the 2017 film It's Not My Fault and I Don't Care Anyway. He also helped produce the comedy show Tiny Plastic Men, which was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series. Beyond acting, Jesse started the #MakeitAwkward campaign in Edmonton, which encourages people to stand up against racism. He is also a successful author, having written books like The Art of Doing and Jars.

Jesse is also the grandson of Edmonton Elks football player Rollie Miles. His uncle was Brett Miles, and he is a cousin to the Canadian rapper, Cadence Weapon.
