Jessica Falkholt (born May 15, 1988 – died January 17, 2018) was a talented Australian actress. She was best known for her role as Hope Morrison in the popular TV show Home and Away in 2016. Jessica also starred in the movie Harmony, which came out after she passed away. She sadly died in a car accident in December 2017.

Jessica Falkholt: Her Life and Career
Jessica Falkholt was born in Sydney, Australia, on May 15, 1988. Her mother, Vivian, was Italian, and her father, Lars, was Swedish.
Jessica went to Gilroy College in Castle Hill. After high school, she studied Media and Communication at the University of New South Wales. While at university, she acted in several plays, including the musical Cabaret.
After graduating, Jessica worked behind the scenes at TV channels like Channel Seven. She also acted in TV commercials to gain experience.
In 2012, Jessica was accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). This is a very famous acting school in Australia. While studying there, she had small roles in TV shows like Tricky Business.
Jessica finished her studies at NIDA in 2015. The next year, she got a big role in Home and Away. She played Hope Morrison on the show. In 2017, she finished filming her first movie, Harmony. In this film, she played the main character. She also filmed a guest role in the TV drama Bite Club. Just before her accident, she finished filming a role in the crime drama Mystery Road.
A Tragic Accident
On December 26, 2017, Jessica Falkholt was in a very serious car crash. Both of her parents died instantly in the accident. Jessica and her sister, Annabelle, who was 21, were pulled from the burning car alive. Sadly, Annabelle passed away a few days later, on December 29, in Liverpool Hospital.
The accident happened on the Princes Highway in New South Wales. The Falkholt family was returning home after celebrating Christmas.
Jessica was taken to St George Hospital in Sydney. She fought for her life for several weeks. On January 12, 2018, it was announced that her life support had been turned off. Jessica Falkholt died in the hospital on January 17, 2018, at the age of 29.
