About Jhal Magsi
Jhal Magsi is the main town for two important tribes: the Magsi and the Lashari. These are the biggest tribes in the area. The Magsi people are a Baloch group. They moved here from Iran a long time ago with other Baloch tribes. They are called Magsi because they came from a city named Magas in Iran.
Tribal Leaders
The current leader, or sardar, of the Magsi tribe is Zulfqar Ali Khan Magsi. He used to be the chief minister of Balochistan. The leader of the Lashari tribe is Sardar Jalal Khan Lashari. These leaders help guide their communities.
Fun Events and Attractions
Jhal Magsi is famous for its exciting desert car rally. It's called the Jhal Magsi Desert Race. This race happens every year. Drivers from all over Pakistan come to compete. Even some drivers from other countries join in the fun!
The city also has many old and interesting places to visit. These include Peer Chattal Shah Noorani, which is a special shrine. There's also the Taj Mahal of Balochistan, which is actually the tomb of Moti and Gohram Lashari. Moti was the wife of Mir Gohram Lashari. Other cool spots are the Moola River and Peer Lakha.
