João Carlos played as a defender, which means his main job on the field was to stop the other team from scoring goals. Playing for Different Clubs
João Carlos began his journey with Democrata–Sete Lagoas in 1992. He then moved to Cruzeiro, one of Brazil's biggest clubs, where he played from 1994 to 1999. During this time, he also had loan spells at Democrata-GV and Mamoré.
