Joachim Alcine (born March 26, 1976) is a professional boxer from Haiti and Canada. He lives in Montreal, Quebec. Joachim used to be a world champion in the light middleweight boxing division. He held the WBA light middleweight title.

Joachim Alcine's Boxing Journey
Joachim Alcine started his professional boxing career with many wins. He won several important titles early on. For example, he won the WBA Fedelatin Light Middleweight Title in 2004. He also won the NABA Light Middleweight Title in 2006. In 2005, he became the WBC International Light Middleweight Champion. He had a great record of 31 wins and only 2 losses. Many of his wins (19 of them) came by KO.
On July 7, 2007, Joachim became the WBA Light Middleweight champion. He won this title by beating Travis Simms in a unanimous decision. This means all the judges agreed that Joachim won the fight. He also trained with Georges St-Pierre, a famous mixed martial artist.
Defending His Title
Joachim successfully defended his WBA title on December 7, 2007. He fought against Alfonso Mosquera from Panama. Joachim won the fight by TKO (Technical Knockout) in the 12th round. This exciting match took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
