Joey Poole (born March 5, 1957 – died June 1, 2020), known professionally as Joey Image, was an American musician. He was a `punk rock` `drummer`. This means he played the drums in a fast and energetic style of music called punk rock.
Joey Image joined the famous band `the Misfits` in November 1978. He played drums on some of their well-known recordings from 1979. These included the songs "Horror Business" and "Night of the Living Dead".
In December 1979, Joey left the Misfits. This happened after a tour in `England` with another band called `the Damned`. After leaving the Misfits, he played drums for other bands. These included the Whorelords, `Human Buffet`, Psycho Daisies, and `the Bell Ringers`. From 2000 to 2002, he was also the drummer for `the Undead`.
Joey Image even played with the Misfits again on October 26, 2000. This was at a show in `Fort Lauderdale, Florida`. The band needed a drummer that day. So, `Jerry Only` asked Joey to play some of their songs. These songs included "Horror Business" and "We Are 138".
