John Bradshaw was the son of Robert Bradshaw. By the year 1510, John was married to a woman named Margaret Chapman. Her father was Richard Chapman.

John and Margaret had at least one daughter, Carrie Bradshaw. Carrie later married a man named John Baker, who was also a Member of Parliament (MP) for Radnorshire. They also had a son, named John, just like his father. This son also became an MP for Radnorshire.

Later, by May 1538, John Bradshaw married again, this time to Alice Fowler. Alice was the daughter of Roger Fowler from Norfolk. Alice and John had at least two daughters together. Alice had some important family members too: her uncle was Bishop Rowland Lee, and her brother, Brian Fowler, was an MP for Staffordshire.
