John Forgeham (born 14 May 1941 – died 10 March 2017) was an English actor. He was famous for his roles on TV, especially as Frank Laslett in the show Footballers' Wives.

Early Life and Training
John Forgeham was born in Kidderminster, England. When he was a child, his family moved to Erdington, Birmingham. He loved acting and studied at a famous school called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He even won a special award there for being the best student actor!
Acting Career
John Forgeham had a long and busy acting career that lasted almost 50 years. He worked in plays, on television, and in movies.
On Stage
From 1966 to 1972, John was part of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). This is a very well-known theater group. He traveled with them, performing plays in different cities and even in other countries. While on tour in Australia, he liked it so much that he stayed longer and helped start a new theater called the Globe Shakespeare Theatre in Sydney.
On Television
John appeared in many popular TV shows. Some of his well-known roles were in The Avengers, Z-Cars, The Sweeney, and Minder. He was also known for playing Jim Baines in Crossroads. Later, he became very famous for playing Frank Laslett in the hit show Footballers Wives. He also had parts in The Bill, Casualty, and Doctors.
In Movies
John Forgeham also acted in several films. Some of his movie roles include The Italian Job (1969), Sheena (1984), and Kiss of the Dragon (2001). He also appeared in Mean Machine (2001) and Dead Man Running (2009).
Later Life and Passing
In 2004, John Forgeham was on a TV show called Celebrity Fit Club. He was the team captain for a while. John passed away on 10 March 2017, at the age of 75. He died suddenly after an accident at his home in Worthing, West Sussex.
