John Michael Higgins (born February 12, 1963) is an American actor, comedian, and game show host. He is well-known for his roles in movies and TV shows.
Higgins has appeared in funny "mockumentary" films by Christopher Guest. He also played famous TV host David Letterman in the movie The Late Shift. On TV, he starred in the American version of Kath & Kim and played Peter Lovett in Happily Divorced.
You might also recognize his voice! He voiced characters like Iknik Blackstone Varrick in The Legend of Korra and Mini-Max in Big Hero 6: The Series. From 2017 to 2018, he was Chuck Pierce in the TV show Great News.
Since 2018, John Michael Higgins has been the host of the game show America Says. For this job, he was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2019. He also started hosting a new version of the game show Split Second in 2023. Higgins went to Amherst College and was part of an a cappella singing group called the Zumbyes.
