Fighting in the Nine Years' War
John Oge Burke was a soldier during the Nine Years' War (Ireland). This was a big conflict in Ireland that lasted from 1593 to 1603. He fought alongside his brother, William Burke, Lord of Bealatury. They were part of the Irish forces.
