John Walton (born in 1952 – died on 17 July 2014) was an Australian actor. He was famous for acting in plays, on television, and in movies. Many people knew him from the TV shows The Young Doctors and The Sullivans.

John Walton's Acting Roles
John Walton played many different characters during his acting career. He was in several popular Australian TV shows.
Early TV Shows
- From 1976 to 1977, he played Doctor Craig Rothwell in the TV show The Young Doctors.
- In 1984, he appeared in a miniseries called Bodyline.
- He also played the famous pilot Sir Charles Kingsford Smith in the Australian miniseries A Thousand Skies.
Heartbreak High and The Sullivans
- From 1997 to 1998, John Walton was in Heartbreak High, where he played the character Nat Delaine.
- On the show The Sullivans, he played Michael Watkins. Michael was the nephew of a character named Ida Jessop, played by Vivean Gray.
- His character, Michael, married Alice Morgan, played by Megan Williams.
- Later, Michael was involved in a car accident and died. In the story, he saved another person, Pamela Somers, played by Diane Craig, by pushing her from the car before it crashed.
