The Woelke-Stoffel House is a beautiful two-story home built in 1896. It is located in Anaheim, Orange County, in sunny Southern California. This house is a great example of the Queen Anne style of building.

A Historic Home in Anaheim

The Woelke-Stoffel House was designed by architects George Franklin Barber and Armstrong Davis Porter. It was built over 125 years ago! Today, the City of Anaheim owns this special house. It is now part of a place called Founders Park.

Founders Park: A Step Back in Time

Founders Park is like a living museum. It has a collection of old buildings that show what life was like long ago. The Woelke-Stoffel House is one of the main attractions there.

Besides the Woelke-Stoffel House, Founders Park has other cool things to see. You can find the Pioneer House of the Mother Colony. This house was built by George Hanson, who helped start the city of Anaheim.

The park also has a huge Moreton Bay Fig tree. This tree is a city landmark and was planted in 1876. There's also a large Carriage House, which is another building in the Queen Anne style. You can also explore a vegetable garden, a small orange grove, a Pump House, and a windmill.

Visiting the Woelke-Stoffel House

The Woelke-Stoffel House and Founders Park are popular places to visit. They are very close to the Disneyland Resort. This makes them a fun stop for tourists.

You can take free public tours of the house. These tours happen on the third Saturday of every month. It's a great way to learn about history!

The Woelke-Stoffel House is so important that it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This happened on July 8, 2013. This listing helps protect the house and its history for future generations.
