Jonathan Fritzén (born October 11, 1982) is a talented musician from Sweden. He is known for playing smooth jazz piano. He can play many instruments and also writes and produces his own music!

About Jonathan Fritzén
Jonathan was born in Stockholm, Sweden. His mom, Katarina, played the flute. His dad, Steve, was a composer. Music was definitely in his family!
He started playing drums when he was very young. As he grew up, he learned to play many other instruments. These included the piano, bass, guitar, and flute. He also learned to sing.
Jonathan studied music at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in Stockholm. He was one of the first students to earn a master's degree there. This was from the jazz department.
His First Albums
Jonathan released his first solo album in 2008. It was called Love Birds. On this album, he played all eight instruments himself! He also wrote and produced all the songs.
His second album, VIP, came out in 2009. It featured other artists like singer Laila Adele. Guitarist Jay Soto and saxophone players Michael Lington and Greger Hillman also played on it. This album stayed on the Smoothjazz.com TOP 50 chart for 40 weeks!
Chart-Topping Success
In 2010, Jonathan released his third album, Diamonds. This album also featured many guest musicians. These included saxophone players Darren Rahn, Jessy J, and Koh. Singer Laila Adele and guitarist Alex Crown were also on the album.
The first song from Diamonds was "Dance With Me". It was a huge hit! It spent 10 weeks at number one on the Billboard Indicator Smooth Jazz Chart. His second song, "Undercover", reached number two on the same chart. The Diamonds album also made it into the top 10 on the Smoothjazz.com Chart. It even hit number one on Amazon.com for "Bestsellers in Smooth Jazz".
More Recent Music
Jonathan's fourth album, "Magical", came out in 2012. It featured famous artists like Boney James, Jackiem Joyner, and Vincent Ingala.
His fifth album, "Fritzenized", was released in 2015. It included collaborations with Gerald Albright and Paul Taylor. Nils Landgren also played on this album.
Jonathan has continued to release new music. His sixth album, "Ballads", came out in 2017. His seventh album, "Bach and Jazz", was released in 2020. His eighth album, "Piano Tales", came out in 2022.
Jonathan has performed his music all over the world. He has played in Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, and Thailand.
