Early Life and School
Jordan Calloway was born to Joseph Calloway, who works as a cinematographer. His parents are divorced. Jordan is the youngest of several children in his family.
When he was a kid, Jordan dreamed of becoming a Navy SEAL. His brother was the one who was interested in acting at first. Jordan went to Maranatha High School. He graduated from there in 2009. He played varsity baseball for all four years of high school.
After high school, he went to Azusa Pacific University. He studied TV and film production there. He earned his degree in that field.
His Acting Career
Jordan Calloway has been in many TV shows and movies. One of his first big roles was Zach Carter-Schwartz in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous. He was a main character on that show for several years.
He also had a recurring role on the popular medical drama ER. Later, he joined the cast of Riverdale. In this show, he played the character Chuck Clayton.
A very important role for him was Khalil Payne (also known as Painkiller) in Black Lightning. He started as a recurring character. Then, he became a main character for the rest of the series.
More recently, since 2022, Jordan has been starring in the CBS show Fire Country. In this show, he plays the character Jake Crawford.
