Jordan Connor Yuen, born on September 17, 1991, is a Canadian actor. He is well-known for playing Sweet Pea in the TV series Riverdale. Jordan has also appeared in other shows like Looking for Alaska, Hospital Show, and Nurses.

Growing Up and Early Life
Jordan Connor was born in Calgary, Canada. When he was two years old, his family moved to Vancouver. He grew up in Delta, which is near Vancouver.
Jordan's father was born in Canada and has a mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, and Samoan roots. His mother is from Croatia. Jordan also found out he has European and Native American family history. He has a brother named Brad and a sister named Nicole.
Jordan knew he wanted to be an actor when he was about 10 or 11 years old. He went to Sands Secondary School. There, he acted in plays and played football. His first play was Guys and Dolls at school.
After high school, Jordan got a football scholarship to the University of British Columbia. He studied architecture and focused on football. But during a game, he broke his leg. This injury ended his football career. Jordan felt sad because he couldn't walk for three months.
After his leg healed, Jordan found work as a stuntperson. A TV show called Hellcats needed stunt people from his football team. Working on set made him love acting again. He kept doing stunt work and background roles for about a year.
Eventually, Jordan left university to become a full-time actor. He started acting classes at the Railtown Actors Studio in Vancouver. For five years, he trained and took small acting jobs. He also worked other jobs, like bartending and selling phones. He even owned a theatre company with his friends.
Acting Career Highlights
Jordan Connor's biggest role was as Sweet Pea in the TV series Riverdale. He had tried out for other characters in the show before getting the role of Sweet Pea. When he first joined Riverdale in its second season (which started in 2017), he was only supposed to be in four episodes. But his role became much bigger, and he became a regular character.
In 2019, Jordan was cast as Kevin in Looking for Alaska. This was a miniseries based on a popular book by John Green. The show came out in October 2019 on Hulu. Also in 2019, Jordan appeared in Hospital Show. This was a comedy web series with 10 parts, released on YouTube.
In April 2020, Jordan was a contestant on RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race. He competed against other celebrities and won his episode! He won $30,000 for his chosen charity, Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
In August 2020, Jordan joined the cast of the Canadian medical drama Nurses for its second season. More recently, Jordan produced a short film called The Ornament. His wife, Jinjara Mitchell, wrote and directed it. The film was shown in July 2024.
Personal Life
Jordan Connor and his long-time girlfriend, Jinjara Mitchell, got engaged on September 22, 2018. They got married on September 4, 2021.
