Jorge Hernán Bermúdez Morales (born June 18, 1971) is a former professional Colombian football defender. He was known for his strong play in defense. He played 56 games for the Colombian national team between 1995 and 2001.

Jorge Bermúdez played for many different football teams during his career. He started and ended his career with Deportes Quindío in Colombia. He also played for other Colombian teams like América de Cali and Independiente Santa Fe.

Success with Boca Juniors
One of the most important parts of his career was playing for Boca Juniors in Argentina. With Boca Juniors, he won many big titles. He helped them win the Copa Libertadores in 2000 and 2001. He also won three league titles in Argentina with Boca Juniors.
Representing Colombia: National Team
Jorge Bermúdez was a key player for the Colombian national team. He played in the 1992 Summer Olympics. He also played in the 1998 FIFA World Cup, which is the biggest football tournament in the world. He also took part in three Copa América tournaments in 1995, 1997, and 1999.
After Playing: Coaching and Management
After he stopped playing football, Jorge Bermúdez became a coach. He managed several teams in Colombia, including Depor Jamundí, Deportivo Pasto, and América de Cali.
In 2010, he also managed Defensa y Justicia, a team in Argentina's second division. He later worked as a TV commentator for ESPN.
In 2016, he became the sporting director for Atlético Huila. He even took over as caretaker manager for a short time in 2017.
