Jorge Bernal Alarcón (born October 24, 1979) is a Mexican former soccer player. He was a goalkeeper, which means he was the player who defends the goal. His last team was Delfines F.C..
Playing Career
Starting at Veracruz
Jorge Bernal started his professional soccer journey with the team Veracruz. He played his very first game on August 27, 2003. In that game against C.F. Monterrey, he made an amazing save right away. He stopped a penalty kick from another player, Luis Ernesto Pérez! Soon after this great start, Jorge became the main goalkeeper for Veracruz. He played with them for five seasons.
Moving to New Teams
After his time with Veracruz, Jorge moved to Club Necaxa. He played a few games there. Then, he returned to Veracruz, which was playing in the second division of Mexican soccer at that time.
He continued to play for different teams. He joined Querétaro F.C. for a short period. Later, he went back to Veracruz again. His last team was Delfines F.C..
